Minnesota Caricature Workshop: June 27-28, 2026 DEPOSIT

NOTE: This payment if a DEPOSIT ONLY to register for a spot in the workshop. This deposit is fully refundable up until April 20. The full tuition is $550, and the balance will be billed to you on April 21.

Itinerary:

Friday, June 26th:

• OPTIONAL: Tom’s Studio Visit, 7pm-10pm: Exclusive to Minnesota workshops! Come and spend the evening at Tom’s house, tour his studio, look at some original art and meet your fellow workshoppers. Dinner and drinks provided!

Saturday, June 27th:

• 9:30 am: Arrival coffee, tea and treats! (Coffee and tea served all day)
• 10:00 am- 12:30pm: Opening session: Lecture on Tom’s work and caricature theory, drawing and exaggerating features, practical application; Demonstration of Tom’s MAD magazine illustration process
• 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm: Lunch Break (On own, not included)
• 1:30 pm- 3:00 pm: Afternoon session– Hands on drawing of multiple subjects, feature lessons, individual and class critiques
• 3:00 pm- 3:30 pm: Afternoon break
• 3:30 pm -6:00 pm: Evening session: Continued lessons on features, multiple subject examination and drawing, one-on-one instruction and critique

Sunday, June 28th:

• 9:30 am: Arrival coffee, tea and treats! (Coffee and tea served all day)
• 10:00 am- 1:00 pm: Morning session- Morning session- Demo of Tom’s live caricature techniques, Live Caricature Jam Session
• 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm: Lunch Break (On own, not included)
• 1:30 pm 3:00 pm: Continued lessons on features, multiple subject examination and drawing, one-on-one instruction and critique
• 3:00 pm- 3:30 pm: Afternoon break
• 3:30 pm -6:00 pm: Evening session: Continued lessons on features, multiple subject examination and drawing, one-on-one instruction and critique, Q & A

• Host for workshop only, stay at host hotel not required
  
• We do have a group room rate of $125/night if anyone needs a room.

This deposit guarantees you a spot in the workshop, and is fully refundable through April 20. After April 20 the deposit becomes non refundable, and you will be billed for the $450 balance which will be due on May 21.

Refund policy: After April 20 all payments are nonrefundable. However if you have to cancel we will make every effort to fill your spot in the workshop with another student. If we can do they, your deposit and balance payments will be fully refunded.
