Hello! Thanks for stopping by Tom's "NYCC Artist's Alley Table"! This online comic con “appearance” is in tandem with New York Comic Con 2024, and will run until 5:00pm EDT Sunday Oct 20th. It will offer all the kinds of commissions Tom usually sells only at a comic con, for the same con prices!
This is a "Live Caricature Style" black and white drawing, done by Tom on 12" x 16" paper in graphite with blending stomp shading! The subject can be you, your dad, your neighbor, your plumber, or whoever including famous people or subjects like movie characters, etc... with that special MAD twist! The best thing to do is to give Tom a subject/theme and let him take it from there. You can have yourself drawn with your favorite movie star/character, playing your favorite sport, as a superhero/fictional character/etc. Whatever! Tom will need good photos of you or your subjects.
HOW TO ORDER: The $50 price is the base price PER face. This price includes one face and a simple theme/body. Each face included is another $50 (if you want more than three faces, just order the "three faces" option and we'll add the extra later). Really complex themes can also be a little bit extra. What you do to order one is choose how many people you want (if it’s more than three choose three, we’ll add for more faces later) to add this to your cart, and follow through with the base price payment. Tom will personally respond via email asking for the details of what you want him to draw, get any pictures he’ll need, and discuss if there is any additional costs needed for extra people/elaborate themes, etc). Once all the details are worked out he’ll get to your commission, just like he would have at a Comic-Con!
All commissions and orders will be done in the order in which they are received (and be aware that this may take some time depending on how long the queue gets) and as these are custom pieces of art it may take some time to complete. Rest assured if you are considering this as a holiday gift for someone, it will be completed and shipped to you well before the holiday season.
